Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using Sqewise.
Last updated: 26 May 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By registering for or using Sqewise (available at sqewise.co.uk), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
2. Description of service
Sqewise provides an online SQE1 exam preparation platform including practice questions, mock exams, progress tracking, and a study planner. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account with others. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. One account per person — multiple accounts are not permitted.
4. Free and paid tiers
- Free tier: 25 practice questions per day. Correct answer revealed after each question. Access to basic progress tracking.
- Pro tier: Unlimited practice questions, full explanations with legal authority, unlimited mock exams, Study Planner, and full progress analytics.
Features may be updated at any time. We will give reasonable notice of any reduction in free tier allowances.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not provide refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by law. If you are a consumer in the UK, you have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period from the date of first purchase.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: share your account credentials; use the service for commercial purposes without written permission; scrape, copy, or reproduce questions, explanations, or other content from the platform; attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the platform; use automated tools to access the service; or use the service in any way that violates applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Sqewise platform — including practice questions, explanations, legal authority references, mock exam content, and software — is owned by Sqewise or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission.
9. Automated features
The Doubt Solver feature uses automated technology to answer questions about SQE1 topics. Responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate. Sqewise content is not legal advice. Always verify important information with a qualified solicitor or official sources.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sqewise is not liable for: any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss; loss of data; loss of profit; or loss arising from reliance on the service for exam preparation outcomes. Our total liability for any claim arising out of use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the three months prior to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
